Supporting staff is essential to cultivating a healthy school environment. APC provides gratitude for all school staff and donated over $3000 last year to facilitate recognition, including sponsoring holiday gifts and treats.

Volunteers plan and implement small ways to show kindness, such as decorating staff lounges, providing dinners during parent/teacher conferences, and acknowledging staff appreciation week.

The APC promotes community engagement and fosters unity within the district.

Partnerships with local organizations include donating money from the APC budget to the Affton Family Fund and Cougar Backpack program.

The APC also organizes volunteers and donations for Community Days of Service to help students complete their service projects. Last year, the APC donated an additional $400 for supplies.

The APC raises funds for student activities and events that are not normally included in school budgets. Examples include sponsoring play dates for grades preschool through 5th, donating $3000 in total for AHS senior scholarships, and sponsoring the Back to School bash.

APC sponsors the Affton Floor Hockey League and partners with school principals to coordinate volunteers and assist with school events.
